Ease di Squeeze Supermarket Sweep 2023

Belize Telemedia Limited (“BTL/DIGI”) will be hosting the Ease di Squeeze Supermarket Sweepstakes for a period of 9 weeks starting Friday, January 27, 2023, and ending on March 31, 2023 (“Promotion Period”), open to all existing and new Digi customers, customers who participate in the ‘Make the Switch’ Promotions, DigiNet, Mobile Prepaid and PostPaid, DigiWallet and DigiTV customers.

1. Digi residential customers who perform qualifying transactions are entered into the draw to compete to win $500 in groceries.

QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

1. To qualify for an entry in the Shopping Spree Competition, existing and or new Digi customers must meet the below entry criteria
2. DigiCell PrePaid customers will receive a single entry for every $20 spent using their primary balance to make calls, send texts or to purchase data during the Promotion Period.
3. DigiCell PostPaid Mobile, DigiNet and DigiTel Customers will receive an automatic entry for every $20 that is paid towards their monthly bills. Bill is to be paid in full on or before the due date for their respective billing cycles, or before.  
4. All Make the Switch customers who sign up for DigiCell or DigiNet service during the Promotion Period will receive an automatic entry.
5. DigiNet PrePaid Customers will receive a single entry for every $20 usage.
6. Every new DigiNet customer to be installed during the Promotion Period will receive an automatic entry.
7. Every new DigiTV customer to sign up during the Promotional Period receives an automatic entry. i.*Account must be in good standing (i.e., Up to date with current balance and any Arrears Payment Agreement)
8. All customers who purchase a device from Digi during the Promotion Period will receive an automatic entry for each device purchased.
9. All new DigiWallet signups for the Promotion Period.
10. All DigiWallet customers receive an entry for each DigiWallet transaction conducted during the Promotional Period.
    1. Every other week commencing Feb 10, customers will be chosen from each zone to participate in the shopping spree.

What do they win?

• One participant in each zone will win $500 in groceries. The second-place participant will win a $100 voucher.

How are participants selected?

• Participants will be selected at random from the complete listing of eligible Digi Customers received during the promotion period.
• Digi accepts no responsibility for any failure to have participated in the Promotion by the Closing Time, including but not limited to, any delayed activations for any reason.

How are the winners notified?

• The 2 Selected Customers will be notified by a Digi Representative calling the contact number used by the Selected Customer to participate in the promotion.
• If the prize is declined or unclaimed as the Selected Customer cannot be contacted from the details supplied on their submission after three (3) phone call attempts (reasonably split over a business day), Digi reserves the right to re-draw another Eligible Customer at random.
• The prize is non-transferable, and Digi reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify, or supersede the Promotion due to circumstances outside its control
• Digi’s decision is final and binding on all participants.

Instore

• Participants will be called on the Monday before the week of the sweepstakes for each zone.

• Shopping location, time and customer participation is confirmed.
• 2 participants from each zone will be chosen to compete.
• Participants will have must-have items on a list provided to them to purchase and then have two minutes total to select other groceries that total up to $500. Participants who do not have the must- have items cannot win the grand prize. Passing the $500 threshold results in automatic disqualification. Participants cannot take up more than 3 of the same items. Participant closest to $500 (without going over) keeps what is in their cart, and the 2^nd participant will receive the $100 supermarket voucher. If both participants are disqualified for any reason, they will receive a $50 voucher.
