ABOUT ROLE:The Talent Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring programs for talent and performance management, learning and development, leadership development, job evaluations, and succession planning in line with HR strategies to ensure proper execution. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or other related discipline.
  • Five years management experience in Human Resources or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Performance Management Models.
  • Knowledge and experience of Talent Management concepts and practices.
  • Knowledge in Principles and Practices of Succession Planning and Strategic HR Planning.
  • Knowledge of HRIS.
  • Ability to translate complex information and/or ideas into clear and concise performance objectives and measurements.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (primarily Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint)

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

Talent and Performance Management

 

  1. Implement and manage a standardized performance management system. Incorporate Corporate Behavioural traits in key performance management tools. 
  2. Develop/Improve, implement, and manage processes/procedures in a centralized location within the Talent Management Department to ensure high quality intradepartmental standards are maintained. 
  3. Lead the strategic process of implementing succession planning framework and managing employee succession with high potential for critical and hard to fill roles.

 

Job Evaluation

 

  1. Lead the job evaluation process to determine the relative value of each job at BTL.
  2. Evaluate Talent Management programs, tools, processes, and procedures to determine the effectiveness in supporting strategic objectives and make recommendations for continuous improvements.

 

Succession Planning

 

  1. Lead the strategic process of implementing succession planning framework and managing employee succession for hard to fill, critical and high potential roles.
  2. Identify, evaluate, train and develop potential successors to fill and highly perform in identified roles.

 

Learning & Leadership Development

 

  1. Develop, implement and/or manage all Individual Learning and Development plans, Performance Improvement Plans for all managers and staff. 
  2. Conduct follow-ups to ensure participants execute the plans according to scope, planning and timelines.
  3. Support the design and development of leadership frameworks to ensure managers are equipped with skills and capabilities required to embed a high-performance culture.
  4. Assist in the development of coaching as a key leadership style while ensuring that coaching principles and skills are built into leadership and management development programs.
  5. Support the improved understanding of our leadership behaviours at all levels across the organization.
