ABOUT ROLE:The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company’s digital wallet. This may include conducting market research, developing and executing promotions and campaigns, coordinating the development of marketing materials, managing social media accounts and campaigns, and coordinating branding, advertising, and events. The Marketing Manager will work in close collaboration with the DWL Sales team, and other departments of the parent company, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Sales to ensure that marketing efforts align with overall company goals. This position reports to the General Manager – DigiWallet.

                                                                                                                                 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Marketing, with a focus on digital marketing
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Preferably owns a personal motor vehicle or other means of personal transportation
  • Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

 

Marketing Promotions and Campaigns

  1. Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the DW brand across all advertising platforms
  1. Develop monthly promo plans to drive customer acquisition and engagement  
  1. Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends

 

Branding, Advertising and Events

  1. Collaborate with the CCO Advertising & Branding teams to support the execution of brand initiatives
  2. Prepare monthly advertising and schedules in alignment with the CCO’s advertising plan 
  3. Create and distribute marketing materials, including QR codes, posters, signage, email newsletters, website content, and social media post
  4. Liaise with internal and external vendors to execute participation in promotional events
  5. Liaise with external vendors to procure merch and other branding materials and negotiate for a better cost where necessary

 

Digital Advertising and Website Content Management

  1. Manage and grow the company’s social media and digital presence, including daily posts and monthly analytics
  2. Attend to all customer queries, concerns, and comments posted on the company’s social media platforms
  3. Management of Influencers and Brand Ambassadors in collaboration with the CCO Marketing Team
  4. Ensure website content is up to date and relevant to current promotions and campaigns; including any policy change that will affect stakeholders 

 

Market and Product Development

  1. Must stay up to date on current events to analyze market trends and adjust Marketing strategy when required. This includes economic trends and developments in the global digital wallet industry
  2. Support the IT team with the development of new products and features including testing and providing results
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer support to ensure that the products available suitable for the target market

 

Budget Management

  1. Develop the yearly Marketing budget ensuring that the company spending is properly justified
  2. Management of the stipend or cash pay-out for events and promo giveaways
  3. Submit a monthly budget to the Finance Manager so that e-Currency is properly allocated to the monthly initiatives
