What is a 4G LTE SIM?

The 4G LTE Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is a small "smartcard" that is inserted into a 3G or 4G LTE device. The SIM card contains your subscriber profile, which includes details about your plan and features. The SIM card also lets you access our 4G network.

Customers can visit any Digi office countrywide to swap their SIM.

Who qualifies for this FREE SIM Swap?

Any customer from the other provider who wishes to switch to the Digi Network will qualify for this promotional offer.  Customers are required to take their active SIM to the nearest Digi Office to take advantage of this promo.  It is recommended to also bring along your device to check network compatibility.


Mobile device must be compatible with Digi’s Mobile Network and must have:

  • 4GLTE Bands 2 and 17
  • 2G/4G 850/1900

What would I need to have my SIM swapped?

It is required to bring along a valid ID, preferably a Social Security or Passport, to confirm identity and register your new Digi SIM. You will also need to have your active SIM and device with you so the necessary compatibility checks can be done.
