 Chief Financial Officer 

in its Finance Division with duty station in “Belize City”



Digi owns and operates an extensive telecommunications network throughout the country of Belize in wireline, wireless and data services. The company offers and uses a wide range of products and technologies that include fixed line telephone service, fixed wireless, national and international calling services, prepaid services, an advanced LTE mobile network, international voice and data roaming, Fiber internet and data services. 



Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Management team and will provide the financial leadership to effectively manage Digi’s core business whilst facilitating the strategic and operational guidance to foster profitable growth in this changing telecom landscape.  As a key business partner to the Senior Leadership team, the successful candidate will guide long range financial strategies, develop expectations around operational performance indicators, and embrace an entrepreneurial spirit to identify and inform on new business opportunities.



  • Masters in Business of Administration or Masters of Science is required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable
  • 5 to 10 years’ of relevant experience in Corporate Finance
  • Significant experience in Financial Management, Financial Strategy/Modeling, as well as structuring business deals and cost accounting models
  • At least 10+ years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles – with examples of demonstrating excellence in the workplace
  • Commitment to supporting, advocating, and promoting good corporate governance, disclosure, and transparency
  • Must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. Must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement



Organizational Leadership 

  1. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on issues affecting the organization, i.e., operating and capital budgets, policy development, development/expansion, significant contract negotiations amongst other deliverables.
  2. Enhance financial acumen and the advancement of transparency within Digi through the sharing of financial data with operational insights and actionable recommendations.


Financial Planning & Analysis 

  1. Develop financial models, forecasts and reports required for decision making.
  2. Develop accurate reporting and Business Intelligence analytics to better inform business operations.
  3. Provide financial projections, analysis and recommendations when evaluating capital expenditures, new business opportunities and new strategic endeavors.


Accounting, Reporting, Compliance and Risk Management 

  1. Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization, inclusive of financial budgets, consolidation and reporting on the monthly management accounts.
  2. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance.


Team Leadership 

  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  2. Support and maximize team capabilities through mentorship and aligning with Digi’s purpose and culture.



  1. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  2. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
