“Manager, Finance - Strategic Initiatives”

in its Finance Division with duty station in Belize City



Manager will provide financial leadership and management support for strategic financial analysis initiatives. Prepare, develop, analyze and communicate key business information and metrics for use by Executive management in order to plan, evaluate and ensure efficient use and accountability of the company’s resources.  Provide analytical acumen to management to support business profitability improvements across the company.



Preferred Master’s Degree in Management Accounting, Finance or related field or a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other business related field with 5 years’ experience with in a financial setting with a focus on analysis including budget and planning. Ability to work with highly confidential information.

  • Experience presenting business opportunities to a broad range of stakeholders, including executive staff
  • Strong financial modeling capability coupled with accounting background
  • Ability to manage deliverables and timelines with limited supervision
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and resourcefulness skills along with intellectual inquisitiveness
  • Demonstrated leadership skills working both interdepartmental and across the organization and with CLevels
  • Project management skills
  • Used to working in a fast moving environment, providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.
  • Proactive and results oriented and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.



  • Participate and key member in the financial modeling and due diligence efforts related to the company's strategic planning, new business and M&A activities. Tasks include performing financial modeling and financial statement impact analysis for new business initiatives, identifying synergies, dis-synergies, flagging potential accounting issues/considerations. Partnering with internal leaders including but not limited to tax, FP&A, treasury, accounting, corporate development, and other relevant functional leaders to support development and analysis of opportunity
  • Ensure detailed documentation of business plans and associated assumptions against which actual performance can be measured. Key participant in post mortem assessments.
  • Perform valuation analysis and finance lead on due diligence matters and advise on investment activities including providing strategies that the company should take to ensure financial growth in line with the business plans.
  • Lead scenario modeling efforts for the development and growth of the company’s portfolio. Participate as a key thought leader of the finance team, influencing decision making, identifying finance priorities, managing indirectly - finance staff in finance departments.
  • Model potential changes to capital structure, acquisition and if required divestiture planning.
  • Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for the company with marketing and business development to provide data analysis.
