What are new the PrePaid Bonus Data Plans?

The new PrePaid Bonus Data plans will allow any active PrePaid customer to use a combination of Bonus and Primary credit to purchase data.  The new plans come in three convenient plan options: NOW Plan, FUN Plan and the DAY Plan with up to 1500 MB data.  You can choose the plan that best fits your budget and lifestyle!

Why should I buy one of the new PrePaid Bonus Data plan?

The new PrePaid Bonus Data plans provides customers the greater flexibility to use your BONUS credit to purchase your favorite PrePaid Bonus Data plan.   All this, while you enjoy DigiCell’s super-fast LTE speeds.

 

How can a PrePaid Bonus Data plan be purchased?

You can purchase your PrePaid Bonus Data plan by:

- Dialing *100# or *100 for the DigiCell Menu under “Promotions”

- Dial *400# or *400 via the direct short codes

- Send a text to 400 with the name of the plan in the body of the text: Example: Fun to 400

- Accessing the DigiGo App which can be downloaded via App Store or Google Play Store

- Via the DigiCell PrePaid Portal: www.mydigicell.bz

Can I purchase multiple PrePaid Bonus Data plans at a time?

PrePaid customers have the flexibility to purchase multiple PrePaid Bonus Data plans at any given time.  If multiple PrePaid Bonus Data plans are purchased, the data allowance allocated to this specific promotion will be combined and the furthest expiration date will apply.

 

The PrePaid Bonus Data allowance will not combine with your standard PrePaid Data Plan allowance.

If I have an active Data Basic plan or am a member of a Shared Data Plus Plan, will I be able to purchase one of the new PrePaid Bonus Data plans?

Yes, PrePaid customers with a Data Basic Plan or who is a member of a Shared Data Plus Plan can also purchase one of the new PrePaid Bonus Data plans.

Note that the data allowance allocated to your PrePaid Bonus Data Plan will take priority and will be consumed first. 

 

Once the allowance for your PrePaid Bonus Data Plan is depleted, only then will your Data Basic Plan or Shared Data Plus Plan become active.

If I am a PrePaid customer with an active standard PrePaid Data plan, will I be able to purchase one of the new PrePaid Bonus Data plans?

Yes, PrePaid customers who already have an active PrePaid Data Plan can also enjoy the new PrePaid Bonus Data plans. 

 

In such case, the active PrePaid Bonus Data plan will be consumed first and once depleted, the allowance applied to your standard PrePaid Data Plan will then be consumed.

 

Can I still enjoy ongoing promotions while having an active PrePaid Bonus Data plan?

Of course! Just be mindful that in such instances, priority will be given to the promotion with the shortest expiration period as with hourly, time sensitive or one day promotions.  The new PrePaid Bonus Data plans carry the highest priority so these will be consumed first.

 

What happens if I do not consume the allotted data allowance on my plan within the validity period?

Your data allowance will be lost if the data plan expires. To extend your data allowance, simply purchase another PrePaid Bonus Data plan. This will allow the data allowance to accumulate and the expiration date will be extended based on the new plan purchased.

 

What happens if my data allowance from my PrePaid Bonus Data plan is depleted?

If your data allowance is depleted, you will no longer have data access. To continue enjoying data, you will need to purchase another PrePaid Bonus Data plan or a standard PrePaid Data Plan if none is active on account.

 

Note that you will not receive the standard text notifications when your data consumption reaches 50% and 100% due to the short expiration of the plans.

 

What will happen if I do not have the required credit in my Primary and/or Bonus Balance?

The charge for any PrePaid Bonus Data plan is a combination of both Primary and Bonus credit.  Therefore, if there is insufficient Primary or Bonus credit needed for your plan purchase, the transaction will fail.  

 

In such case, you will either need to choose a plan for which both Primary and Bonus credit is available, or you will need to recharge your account to make a purchase.

 

How can I add Bonus Credit to my PrePaid account?

Bonus Credit only becomes available when a Double Up or Triple Up promotion is offered.  You are encouraged to take advantage of these promotions so that you can continue to enjoy the benefit of using your Bonus credit to purchase your favorite PrePaid Bonus Data plan. 

 

Note that Primary credit can be added to your account on any day.
